Local Results For Broad Street Run

See how local runners in the Radnor area did in Sunday's Broad Street Run in Philadelphia.

On Sunday morning, more than 40,000 runners near and far participated in the 33rd Annual Broad Street Run in Philadelphia. According to Philly.com, Henry Rutto, 29, of Kenya, won the 10-mile run for the men's division, clocking in at 47 minutes and 6 seconds, while Esther Erb, 26, of North Carolina, won the women's division with 55 minutes and 28 seconds.

Among those who participated, 429 runners represented the Radnor Patch area—308 from Wayne, 42 from Radnor, 55 from Villanova, 18 from Rosemont  and 6 from St. Davids.

According to the Broad Street Run race results posted by Active.com, here are some notable finishes in our area:

  • Andrew Keller, 23, of Wayne, finished 86th overall and twenty-first in his division, with a chip time of 56:21.
  • Ryan Walsh, 35, of Wayne, finished 106th overall and finished 12th in his division with a chip time of 57:40.
  • Julianne Viscardo, 34, of Wayne, finished ninth in her division with a chip time of 1:04:26.
  • Christine Cox, 41, of Villanova, finished 5th in her division with a chip time of 1:03:56.
