The RBCC is very proud of the accomplishments of all its rowers at the recent Philadelphia City Championships held on Sunday, May 5th. Perfect rowing weather brought success for several Radnor crews, but most exciting is the accomplishment of Radnor seniors and Varsity rowers Jimmy Puckett and Jimmy Purtill.

Rowing in the Varsity 2- category this season, this crew has dominated and continued to show their superior skill by placing 1st in their category at the City Championships (photo).

The Radnor Boys Lightweight 8+ crew of Dan Hughes, Brandon Lorenz, Connor Kerpius, Stephen Fitch, Kevin Janson, Alex Chain, Jack Breen, George Walker and coxswain Henry Leonardi rowed to 4th place in the time trials and to a 4th place finish in the finals at the end of the day.  Although just out of the medals the third place finish behind local teams qualifies this crew for Scholastic Rowing Association of America Nationals to be held on the Cooper River May 24 and 25.

Radnor Boys Crew will be back on the water this weekend at the US Rowing Mid-Atlantic Junior Championships on Mercer Lake in Princeton, NJ.
