Cabrini Coaches to Teach Lacrosse Summer Camp

Cabrini College men and women lacrosse coaches will host separate sessions for boys and girls entering second through ninth grades from June 18 through June 21.

men's lacrosse coach Brian Felice said it's important for young players to work on fundamentals Friday night at the inaugural championship game of the new township youth lacrosse program.

He said many youth programs emphasize tournament play and parent and player schedules leave too little time for practice and drills.

To help fill this need, Felice and Cabrini women's coach Jackie Neary will run separate boys and girls lacrosse camp during the week of June 18 through June 21 for players entering second through ninth grades.

Felice said participants will get instruction in all aspects of the basics of lacrosse. Camp staff will include members of the Cavalier men and women lacrosse teams as well as local high school and college coaches.

Under Felice, Cabrini has won 11 straight conference titles and earned 10 straight NCAA tournament appearances. Neary, a former member of Temple's Division I NCAA title team, has led the Cabrini women to 10 conference titles and eight NCAA tourney berths.
