Vote: Best Local Athlete Picture

Check out all these great local athlete pictures from your neighbors and vote on which one you think is the best.

The 2012 Summer Olympics in London are officially open and the world’s best athletes are competing for gold.

But those aren’t the only great athletes. We have great athletes all around us, on the Little League field, on the local swim team, playing tennis at the local community court and everywhere we look. These athletes may be the next Olympians or they may just be good athletes. We want to celebrate them and their achievements.

This week, we asked and you uploaded all these great pictures of local athletes. Now it's your turn to say which picture is best.

All the pictures are numbered in the caption area. Please vote by giving the photo number in the comments below. We'd also love to know why you think that is the best photo, but all we need for the vote to count is the number.

Voting will end at 9 a.m. Monday. So get in your vote. One vote per person, please.

Preview: Next week's topic is summer, so if you have that great picture that just says summer to you, find it and check back Monday to upload it.

This is part of Patch’s summer Picture of the Week series, where we ask you for your best pictures on a certain topic each week. We love seeing the pictures you've shared so far and are looking forward to more. The winning submission will get a Patch prize pack, which includes a very soft Patch Tshirt, a baseball cap and maybe some other Patch stuff, but more importantly, you’ll get bragging rights.

We’ll be taking photo submissions each week from 4 a.m. Monday through noon Friday.

Thank you proving that Democrats love to defend higher taxes (vs the resultant lower taxes from theRead More lower budget offered by others). Enough said.
Catherine June 12, 2013 at 03:53 am
Glad the Dems are realistically planning for the future. It's also encouraging to know that all ofRead More the candidates actually have children in the public schools. Can't say the same about the Republican ticket which sure says something....

Gee Catherine perhaps you could explain & list the "realistic" plans in the Dem budgetRead More that were excluded from the Repub budget. Would also be interested to know why having children in Radnor Schools is a good thing....I'd rather have representatives who have pertinent experience and perhaps have grown children who have already been through Radnor....do senior executives or Board members of corporations have children in their company's? What is the benefit to the school children or the Township?
