Make 11/12/13 a Day To Donate

HeartWork Organizing and Avero Craft Pizzeria are asking friends, clients and neighbors to contribute 10 or more items to the Wayne United Methodist Church food pantry by 11/12/13.

November 12, 2013 is one of the last sequential dates that we'll see in our lifetimes. Can you make a difference on this one day? Two Wayne-based businesses, HeartWork Organizing and Avero Craft Pizzeria, along with the Wayne United Methodist Church, say, “Yes!”

Tying the unique date with the November traditions of giving thanks and organizing the pantry to make room for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, they’re asking for donations for the local food pantry.

The Wayne United Methodist Church maintains a food pantry open to all in need, but the need has grown greatly over recent years, even in the heart of the Main Line.

Those who drop off a bag of 10 or more food items, or a grocery gift card of at least $10, can take advantage of two rewards:

HeartWork Organizing will offer participants a free online organizing class in early December to help organize their pantry, kitchen or other high-traffic area during the holidays.

Avero Craft Pizzeria, which opened in Wayne this year, will offer participants a complimentary certificate for a free appetizer.
