Radnor Boy Scout Seeks Help with Eagle Scout Project

Radnor Boy Scout Troop 284 member Aviel Shalev is seeking funding for his Eagle Scout project, which is to build an elevated walkway that would cover a section of trail in Skunk Hollow park, which floods when it rains.

Radnor Boy Scout Troop 284 member Aviel Shalev is seeking funding for his Eagle Scout project, which is to build an elevated walkway that would cover a section of trail in Skunk Hollow park, which floods when it rains.

"This new walkway will be beneficial to the community by providing a safe and clean path for hikers to use. The walkway would also benefit the local wildlife because, as of now people are walking off the trail to avoid the muddy section and this is detrimental to the wildlife," Shalev said.

The total cost of the walkway would be approximately $1,600. The project needs to be completed by the end of December.
