Odorisio Park Rededication, Live Acting at the Gryphon Among Weekend Events

Read about some of the things happening this weekend in and around Radnor.

Radnor Township is inviting residents to the rededication of Odorisio Park on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. The dedication will take place at the parking lot for the park on West Wayne Avenue. The original dedication plaque from 1967 at Odorisio Park was stolen. Odorisio Park, formerly a quarry and sometimes known as "Quarry Park", was purchased by the Township in 1962. The park was named and dedicated on June 17, 1967 for Rocco A. Odorisio, a former Township Commissioner from the 6th ward who was first elected in 1950 and recognized for his service to the residents of Radnor Township.

Students of Organic Acting Academy in Wayne will be performing live scenes inside the Gryphon Cafe on Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. Come and let the drama unfold around you.
