Radnor Fire Company Joins Forces for Giveaway
Radnor Fire Company gave away smoke detectors as part of huge regional prevention effort.
Representatives of the Radnor Fire Company joined their counterparts from more than 170 fire departments throughout the Philadelphia region Thursday morning to kick off Operation Save a Life. The program is a collaberation between 6ABC/WPVI-TV, Kidde and Home Dept to provide working smoke detectors to people who can't afford or are in need of a home smoke detector. Officials from the Radnor, Berwyn and Paoli Fire companies picked up about 30 of the high-tech smoke detectors for each department to distribute as needed to residents in their coverage areas.
