Painter's Works a 'Tribute to the Jewish People'

Victor Mordasov follows in the tradition of the 'Old Masters.'

Victor Mordasov is showcasing his "Faces of Tradition"—a tribute to the Jewish people—in addition to his secular works, at Burchtree Fine Art Gallery in Eagle Village Shops in Wayne. The show runs through March 30. Mordasov studied at the College of Art and the Academy of Art in Minsk, Belarus before immigrating with his family to the United States in 1995. Well known for his paintings in the style of Rembrandt, Mordasov was inspired by the Holocaust as a major theme many of his portrayals.  Fearing that the next generation has already forgotten what had happened to the millions of Jews who perished during that time, Mordasov desires to preserve this memory in his exemplary work.  His authenticity and sensitivity gives life to the words …

Congressman Pat Meehan Presents Art Awards to Local High School Youth

Two Radnor High School students were amongst those who had winning artwork.
