Radnor Republicans Endorse Second Ward Candidate

The candidate "will be a champion for traditional values," according to the Republican Party.

The Radnor Republican Committee has endorsed Richard F. Booker, Esq. as their candidate for Radnor’s Board of Commissioners in the Second Ward. Booker was elected to the Radnor School Board (2003-2007), where he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee among other assignments.  According to the Republican Party, he was instrumental in saving the School District several million dollars through directing the refinance of several outstanding bond issues.  He has been "an advocate for transparency in government and will be a champion for traditional values, putting the interest of the residents above all others in governing the township," states the Party's press release. That "traditional values" platform didn't do much to help the Republican party in October. It's code for positions and backward thinking most voters don't agree with anymore. And, the last thing people who have a memory will choose is a candidate with the sort of transparency Mr Booker Esq showed on the school board.   more ›
