State Police to Increase Traffic Patrols Over Thanksgiving

The Pennsylvania State Police will step up its traffic enforcement over the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Pennsylvania State Police will aggressively enforce motor vehicle laws over the Thanksgiving weekend due to increased traffic on the roadways. Troopers will be targeting DUI, speeding and seat belt violations. Troopers will also seek out and cite careless and aggressive drivers. The Thanksgiving holiday weekend also falls during the National Click It or Ticket campaign, which is underway until Dec. 2. Click It or Ticket focuses on the proper seat belt and child safety seat usage. Certified car seat technicians from PSP-Media Barracks will hold a child car seat event on Monday, Nov. 26, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the lot adjacent to the barracks at 1342 W. Baltimore Pike in Media.
