Louella Court is the birthplace of Wayne. It is home to the Founder's Mansion, built in the 1860s and less than 5 acres of what remains of Mr Henry J. Askin's original 300+ acre property. Today, The Court, is one of three Local Historic Districts in Radnor Township.  The Louella Court Historic District is an eclectic mix or residential and commercial properties. The Court circle, formerly known as Louella Park, includes the Louella Mansion, it's beautiful tree canopied yard and 18 homes built in the 1920s. The entrance to the Court is home to several retail shoppes such as Johnnie's Hot Dogs and Cowan's Flowers.  The District was recognized in 2007 by the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission as a significant district, representative of early Railroad development.
