VFMAC Counselor: There Was No Sex

A former employee is accused of supplying alcohol to cadets.

Hicks also allegedly served alcohol to cadets at the school.

According to the police affidavit, the cadet who met regularly with the Hicks, a school counselor, during the week of October 31 in her office, Hicks touched the cadet's hands, kissed him on the mouth, and proceeded to perform oral sex on him.

He had been a student at Valley Forge Military Academy since January, 2011.

A week after the oral sex incident, the cadet said that Hicks invited him to the room she was staying in on campus over night. The cadet declined, he said.

“We were informed this morning by the Radnor Police that they have issued an arrest warrant for an individual who was fired from this institution late last year," read a statement from the school Wednesday.

"Valley Forge Military Academy & College has cooperated with and fully supported the actions of law enforcement officials during their investigation. We are prepared to continue this support throughout the judicial process," the statement continued. "Our primary concern is to protect all of our cadets individually, collectively and institutionally – and we will continue to support the legal process to that end.”

A 17-year-old cadet, who had had Hicks as a counselor since the fall of 2011, stated that Hicks had purchased alcohol for him four times. Three other cadets testified that she purchased alcohol for them, according to the affadavit.
