Lights, Camera, Action! in South Wayne Wednesday

A commercial for a national advertiser in the financial services industry is being filmed at a South Wayne home on Wednesday.

The home on Lansdowne Avenue, which was designed by owners Gail Blauer and Mitch Miller, is a newly-constructed house that echoes some of the traditional architecture found on the street.

A few years ago a commercial for Colonial Penn Bank was filmed at the house next door, where the couple lived before subdividing their land and building their new home.

The commercial will air October 7, said director Chas Kutchinsky. Downingtown-based iBox Films is producing the commercial.
