Ikebana Workshop at Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens

Presented by Jose Juico, Ikebana Artist and Instructor.

Come learn and experience the beautiful art of Japanese flower arranging!  Jose Juico is a certified teacher in both the Ikenobo and O'Hara schools of Ikebana.  This workshop will feature two demonstrations followed by hands-on practice. Each participant will complete two arrangements, and receive individual attention and critique by the instructor.

Flowers and branch materials will be provided. The vases that will be used during the workshop were designed and made by Jose especially for use in Ikebana arrangements.

Attendees should bring clippers, a low flat dish and a tall container along with two kenzans (flower holders) and a bag lunch. Those wishing to purchase either a container or kenzan should call Jose (484-888-0975) before Wednesday, October 16.

Cost $40 members, $50 non-members. Class size is limited. Pre-registration required.
