2011 was a difficult year for 'The Court'. This summer we lost our dear friend Kathy Harris Lefkowitz to her long term battle with Parkinson's Disease. You may have know Kathy for her Art, her community involvement or as we did, as a wonderfully bright and authentic person. Kathy was an active volunteer in Radnor Township. She worked to earn the Historic Designation for The Court, to change the neighborhood zoning from R5 to R4, a lower density classification and was involved with the Wayne Station pedestrian and vehicular safety project.
Her friends and neighbors contributed to the restoration of a bench in her honor. This weekend the bench was placed in the small garden on the corner of Waynewood and Louella Court, a place where she might have stopped to rest on her way.
We miss you Kathy and were lucky to call you friend.
